Step one is adding contacts
Click the get started import button
Decide to import your Google contacts or the ones on your device
Importing can take a long time depending on how many contacts you have
An alternative way is to add these contacts one by one
Be aware that vestro creates three records for the one business card – company, a position, and a person
is to set up call frequencies
Click set up call frequencies button on the “how do I” home page
Scan through the contacts you want to set a call par for
Click on the record you want to view
Set the number of times per year you want to catch up with that person
To resource level you can set a certain number of calls per month using the “starting from” field
Click the set button and Vestro will create a reminder in your google calendar
You can also set call frequencies in an individual contact record
Click the search button and then type the name of the person and you’re looking for
Click the flower button to make your relationships grow
When you’re ready to contact the person all the phone numbers and email addresses and even the LinkedIn button is there for you to search and find that person’s profile
To write notes click the plus button on the notes field
A window will pop up and you can classify this record
I like to use custom labels like F2F for face-to-face calls or PC for a phone call
Add your notes click save and you’re done
Step five is a unique function of Vestro – scoring your relationships
Click the plus button on the traction tab
Beginners can ignore the into scores button and should always complete an assessment
Be honest with yourself when you’re selecting the most appropriate answer
When you done you can click show results to get coaching feedback or click the i button to learn more about the different types of business relationship
A score of anything less than 70 is not a partnership relationship
The tips for future interactions give you detailed instructions about how to improve your business relationship next time
That app even has a comprehensive set of reports to show you how you’re managing all your relationships and what the trends are over time.
Lastly when you finish viewing feedback Vestro adds a new reminder to your google calendar for the next meeting
The upcoming calls due list can be viewed from the contact due menu accessed on the home screen
So just to wrap up there are a few limitations as it doesn’t have a task list, there is no network sync like iCloud sinks, but hey this is a free app. I have to give it a five star rating because this is the best mobile CRM application that I’ve ever seen. It is amazing at facilitating the process and coaching the salesperson after each sales call. There is tremendous power and value in this feedback.
If you want to get the app go to www.traxor.com/vestro

About Local Video Marketing
Anthony Idle at Local Video Marketing shows SME business people how to create an emotional engagement with their prospective clients using online video advertising so that they can fast forward their sales.
I like that it can scan business cards in directly. Especially if you are using a tablet with built in camera. But it does seem rather light on the scheduling side of things. Task management is so important for salespeople as they are constantly interrupted by other people and calls.
I recommend you try out saleslifecycle.com. it has some really cool tools to help salespeople juggle the daily grind and keep their eye on the ball. (disclaimer – yes I work for these guys!)
